The old fashioned R40 is many times referred to as just “Castrol Racing” this resine based oil has been used trough the years since the 20ties in racing cars. Very well known for its particular smell.
Recommended for prewar (race) engines. High performance two stroke engines and very suitable as a gearbox oil.
